Ubisoft is making its Discovery Tours feature for Assassin's Creed Origin and Odyssey free to all users from today until 21 May. The offer is part of the studio's "Play Your Part, Play At Home" initiative, in helping both teachers and students to learn about the ancient worlds of Greece and Egypt in this COVID-19 pandemic.

As pointed out by Engadget, the Discovery Tour feature was first introduced by Ubisoft when it released Assassin's Creed Origin back in 2017, based in Ptolemaic Egypt. As it is with all Assassin's Creed games, one of the main draws of the series is how each title takes place in a different period of the world's history.

Discovery Tour: Egypt was surprisingly informative as it was fun, and rightly so; Ubisoft says that it worked with professional historians, who effectively helped the studio and its game designers to shape its vision of Egypt. As well as Ancient Greece in Odyssey.

You can download both Discovery Tours by simply visiting Ubisoft's UPlay store without needing to pay anything. For those of you who already own both Assassin's Creed Origin and Odyssey and still have it installed on your system, you can access the feature via each title's main menu.
